my cousin has an i river, but its like one of those HDD mp3 players like an ipod. but i ono, wouldnt you be better off with just an ipod for paying 250 dollars

If you want to play Vorbis, iPods aren't an option. Though I imagine that's not his primary motivation -- the size and form factor are probably why the price.
