ANSI website sells private (i.e. watermarked for you; don't even think about sharing it online) PDF copies of the official 2003 standard (INCITS/ISO/IEC 14882:2003) for mere $18.  I'd say, this will definitely be the best $18 spent if you're learning C++.  Hell, most textbooks are more expensive than this, and they don't even cover all aspects of C++!  The standard document can plug 99% of the holes in your textbook (i.e. unanswered questions that you may have).

P.S.  For your information, standard documents like this usually cost more than $100.  $18 is really a great deal.  I just bought my copy, replacing the old 1998 standard that I bought a couple of years ago for $150 or so (about which I don't really feel ripped off, 'cause I'm pretty sure I've learned and earned more than $150's worth at work over the years)….  :)

I find it funny how one of the announcers from Soul Calibur III Americanizes bastardizes the pronunciation of “Namco”—he pronounces it like “Naemco!”.  orz

The “THX certified” logo sequence in the aforementioned game.  It frickin' rocks.  ♥ Galaga.

Castle Bandits (one of the Megatouch minigames) has a side effect of making you mutter random sequence of numbers in your head, like: 9 8 9 10 11 12 13 1 13 12 13 1 2 3 2 3 4 5….

Paul (MilpitasGL) has officially tempted me to buy XBox 360….  According to him, Best Buy in Union Landing has the console on demo, on a huge plasma display and a 5.1 surround sound system.  I think I'm gonna check it out soon.  HMMMM….

The whole “OMG THE INTERNET IS IN TWO PIECES!” situation is totally uncool and unfun.  Especially if it all began with some political bullshit.

(If you had noticed that random websites time out when you try to access them (including *gasp* Google), yes, it's probably because of this.)
