It's True When…

… people say that iPod accessories can cost an arm and two legs, including the middle one.  _-_  I ended up buying:

  • AC/car charger kit
  • Apple Universal Dock with remote (for bedroom)
  • Denon ASD-3N (for hooking up with TV, also as a standalone DLNA client)
  • DLO VideoShell for iPod Touch

Did I miss anything…?  No, I don't think so.  But still, the gross total is reaching almost $300, and I paid $390 for the iPod itself.  LOL

I also bought a Mighty Mouse, 'cause:

  • I needed a decent wireless mouse for my laptop,
  • Mighty Mouse is a standard Bluetooth HID device so no special driver is required for Linux or FreeBSD, and
  • My girlfriend owns a MacBook and an iPod so I naturally love Apple.  (I know, dot dot dot.  XD XP)

Okay, along with an espresso machine and a coffee grinder, they conclude Holiday Self-Treat 2007™.  LOL XD

P.S.  Oh yeah, I almost forgot, my Touch came with 1.1.2 firmware, so it took a bit longer to jailbreak it, but it's done and I'm loving my SSH client and an IMAP tunnel over SSH.  Although I'm not sure if being able to access office e-mail 24/7 is a good thing or not.  Heehee.

P.P.S.  I almost spelled IMAP in the preceding paragraph as “iMap”….  *shoots self*
