Useless Discovery/Trivia of the Day

PC Cards (including CardBus), without any part that protrudes out of the card slot, are of the same size as a typical credit card/business card as defined by the ISO 7810 ] “ID-1” format, only thicker.  Therefore, if your wallet has a credit card compartment thick enough, you can fit a PC Card in it.  :p

And conversely, if your PCMCIA card comes with a plastic case, it is appropriately sized to hold your driver's license and three imprinted bank cards or so.

Excellent idea!  I totally should remember that next time my wallet can't fit into a jeans pocket….

Yeah, I did it for years. My most recent one broke though, and I don't have any more cases left. :(
